Editing Photos in Lightroom

"Enhanced in Color"
"Dark"
"Captured the majestic Golden Gate Bridge in two contrasting moods through my lens. In Lightroom, I brought one shot to life with vibrant colors, highlighting the iconic beauty of this landmark. The other image, edited to evoke a stormy fall season, channels a dramatic, brooding atmosphere. These edits transformed the mood of each photo, showcasing how light and color can dramatically shift the feeling and narrative of an image.
Basic Portrait Lighting

"Split Lighting"
"Rembrandt Lighting"
"Back Lighting"
"Rembrandt lighting involved positioning a light at a 45-degree angle to the subject, creating a triangle of light on the shadowed cheek. This technique added depth and an intimate atmosphere to the portraits. Backlighting was achieved by placing a light behind the subject, resulting in a soft halo effect that imparted a dreamy quality. Finally, side lighting utilized a light source from the side, enhancing textures and creating strong shadows, which gave the portraits a bold and dynamic appearance. Each lighting technique significantly influenced the mood, allowing for the expression of various emotions and narratives through the portraits.'
